A few pictures from the wall...

We put these up in the cafe when they were published but thought we would include them with other stuff on the blog.

This was the day we had the unbelievable winds and sand storm. Half the beach was up against the esplanade wall. They had 3 bulldozers here for a couple of weeks pushing it all back the way it was. We didn't take our own photos. Silly. March 2005.

This one was captured by a newspaper photographer. It shows a massive storm front passing Bondi Beach out to sea. October 2005

In late 2005 we had the 'race riots'. It really only affected Bondi Beach for one weekend but for months after the area was full of police. This is how one cartoonist saw Christmas at Bondi Beach.
